Terms of use

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply when you use laptopsorted.co.uk. By using the site you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Laptop Sorted is run by DANIEL BUSINESS SUPPORT LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 11694838, registered office 9 Heol Ebwy, Cardiff, CF5 5EB. You can contact us at hello@laptopsorted.co.uk.

2. What Laptop Sorted is

A free website that suggests computers from UK shops based on your answers. It is in beta, so features may change, and we may add, remove or replace models at any time.

3. We do not sell anything

When you follow a link, you buy directly from the shop, under the shop’s terms. Orders, payment, delivery, returns, refunds and faults are between you and the shop, and your consumer rights for the purchase are against the shop.

4. Prices and details

Prices are snapshots read from shops’ own pages, checked every week and shown with the date we checked them. Prices, stock and offers can change at any time, and specifications come from makers’ spec sheets. Always check the price and details on the shop’s page before you buy. If something looks wrong, please tell us.

5. Our suggestions

Our suggestions are general guidance based on your answers, not professional advice. If a course or job needs particular programs, confirm the requirements with your course or employer before you buy.

6. Pro

Pro is free during the beta and no payment is taken. Before Pro becomes paid, we will show its price and terms, and you will choose whether to buy.

7. Using the site

You may use the site for your own, personal use. Please do not copy large parts of it, use it to build a competing service, or try to disrupt it.

8. Our content

The text, design and selections on the site belong to DANIEL BUSINESS SUPPORT LTD. Product and brand names belong to their owners.

9. Our responsibility to you

We take care to keep the site accurate, but we cannot promise that every price, stock level or specification is current. We are not responsible for shops’ products, service or websites, or for losses from relying on information you did not check with the shop. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it, for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live.
